What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is an injectable PLLA biostimulator. After placement in selected tissue planes, it is intended to stimulate a gradual collagen response over time.
Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, which primarily add gel volume where they are placed, Sculptra works progressively. The degree and duration of change vary between individuals.

What to Expect After Sculptra Treatment
Temporary swelling can make the treated area look fuller immediately after injection, but this is not the final result. Collagen-related changes develop gradually over subsequent weeks and months, and the degree and duration of improvement vary.
Injection-related effects can include swelling, bruising, tenderness and redness. Product-specific complications may include palpable or visible nodules, inflammatory reactions or infection.

Frequently Asked Questions
Sculptra and hyaluronic acid fillers serve different purposes. Fillers generally provide more immediate volume, while Sculptra produces a gradual biostimulatory response. Neither is universally better.
Results develop gradually rather than immediately, and PLLA cannot be dissolved in the same way as hyaluronic acid filler. Injection-related complications can also occur.
Cost depends on the treatment area, number of vials and number of sessions recommended.
Age alone does not determine suitability. Facial anatomy, volume change, skin quality, medical history and treatment goals are more relevant.
